Rylee has been excited about getting into a big girl bed for a few months now! She kept talking about wanting a pink room with a big bed like Jack's! We searched high and low for the right furniture and finally found exactly what we wanted for her. John spent almost a whole day painting the room (with a little help from Jack)...and the new pink room looks great. The kiddos spent the night with MuMu and Poppa so that John and I could get all the furniture moved around...it was a big project to get the nursery furniture moved out and the big girl furniture moved in! When we picked the kids up, we took Rylee back home to see her room and she was ecstatic. She loves all of it and was excited to get up in bed and said she was ready to go 'night-night' right then! For the first few weeks after the room got painted, every time someone came over, Rylee would ask them 'do you want to come see my new PINK room?' Not just her new room, but her new pink room! :) I still have a few more things to add to the room and in these pictures the curtains and bed skirt are not there yet (MuMu made those for Rylee!), but we are loving the room and our little girl looks so grown up in her big girl bed! :)

what an adorable room! and i can't believe how fast these kids grow up. pretty soon morgan will be wanting her a big girl bed, too. where did you finally find the furniture? it's so cute! i love the trundle bed - that will come in handy for sleep-overs. :-)
