15 Months!

Miss Rylee turned 15 months old on Friday! Crazy how fast time flies! She is still such a joy...always smiling and laughing. John and I have both noticed a considerable difference in her behavior since she got her tubes put in. She was never bad, but she seems much happier and is definitely letting us know about it. She talks all the time and is usually squealing or laughing with her big brother. Her appetite has returned in full force too! She had slowed down on eating during the few weeks before her surgery- I guess cause she didn't feel very good...but she's back to eating more than Jack at most meals now! She just loves to eat! Rylee has 8 teeth now. She got the 4th tooth on the bottom about 3 weeks ago and then 2 more top teeth came through the following week. They are coming in quickly and she looks so cute when she smiles big and you can see all those teethies! Rylee is still loving to talk...she's added a few words since last month:

-Duck (as well as quack-quack when asked what the duck says)
-More
-bow (as in hairbow!)
-shoe
-arf-arf (when asked what the doggy says)

She also will say 'Mmmm' when asked what a cow says...still working on getting the 'oo' sound, too. She has also learned to point to her belly when asked. She also knows where our bellies are and loves to come up to us and pull up our shirts to tickle us. She thinks it is hilarious. :)

Our big milestone in the last few weeks has been that Rylee has finally decided that she wants to really walk. She has really taken off and will walk from room to room now and is using walking as her primary mode of transportation now. I know...'bout time! She has certainly given her mother a lesson in patience! I am not a very patient person! I will try to get another video of her walking around soon and add it to this post. She is so cute toddling all around.
A few pictures of our princess...

Rylee's little pocketbook and cellphone that Say-Say gave her for Christmas has become her new favorite toys. She loves to carry them around everywhere!

Looking pretty watching Jack's opening day soccer scrimmage...this season is going to be a little more interesting with Rylee on the move! :)

She's precious. Don't worry about her just starting to walk...Mary Fran didn't walk until 18 months. They go at their own time. Love to you!
