First day of Kindergarten...

Jack started Kindergarten on August 18th, 2010.  What a crazy thing...how is my little baby boy old enough to be going to Kindergarten.  It seems like just yesterday we were worried about him staying warm and gaining enough weight when he came into this world 6 weeks early!  We certainly don't have to worry about that stuff anymore.  He has grown into such a big boy and is so much more ready to go to Kindergarten than his Momma is to let him go.  He's been going to preschool since he was 2, but this is just different...being gone all day, every  day is just going to take some getting used to!  I know he will do great...he's such a smart little boy and will learn so much at school.  Jack was ready to go first thing in the morning on the first day...when I went to get him up (expecting to have to wake him), he was up in his bed with the lamp on looking at a book.  I guess he was just too excited to sleep!

All smiles at breakfast before heading to the first day of school...

My boy!  Such a cutie...

So excited!

Jack was very excited about his new big boy green book bag...he picked it out himself (and the red lunchbox inside!)

Rylee is excited for her brother too!

Walking in with Daddy...

Outside of the school-standing next to the 'Mustang'...Midway's mascot!

Me and Jack...

Jack points out his name...

Our family...so proud of our big boy!

Jack and his buddies are all excited...

Jack and Drew have found the Legos...they are excited!

One more family picture before we go...

Rylee was not very excited about leaving her brother!  It's gonna be a tough transition for her not having him around all day...thank goodness she starts school in a couple of weeks!

All smiles after pickup from the first day!!  He had a great first day, but was certainly worn out!  The early wake up calls and long days will certainly take some getting used to!
