Happy 3rd Birthday, Rylee!!!

3 years ago today...

What a difference 3 years makes...Miss Priss today!

I just can't believe that my precious little girl is already 3 years old!  Seems like yesterday we were preparing for her arrival by buying all things pink and frilly!  She is such a joy in our lives...such a happy, fun and smart little girl.  She makes us laugh everyday with the funny things that come out of her mouth.  John often asks her, 'Rylee, are you a little girl or a cartoon character?'  :)  She has grown into such a special little girl.  She amazes me with all the things she is learning.  She can count to 13, knows all of her colors and shapes, and loves to sing songs.  She will tell you if you ask that her name is spelled 'R-Y-L-E-E' and that her full name is Rylee Catherine Flanagan!  She loves her big brother and thinks she can do anything that he can do!  They are definitely best buddies and love to play together!  She is certainly becoming 'Miss Independent' and wants to do everything by herself...she will often say 'You don't help me...I can do it!'  She has even started wanting to button the buttons on her pajamas...it takes a while, but she eventually can do them all!

Rylee loves going to school and her teachers say she is a great student.  She often comes home with a stamp on both hands...if you ask her what that means, she'll tell you that she was 'Super Duper'...apparently Ms. Laura tells them that, too!  :)  Rylee is taking dance this year and is having a great time.  She comes home showing us all of her steps...from shuffle hop step to plies and she loves to chase' across the room!  She can't wait to wear her costume and dance on the big stage!  I just love that she loves dance so much...can't wait to watch her grow into a beautiful dancer!

We had a special day with our big girl on her special day.  She first awoke to our tradition of covering the room in balloons...pink and purple for the princess, of course!  She and Jack had fun playing in the balloons and watching the static make them stick to Rylee's hair!  Jack had school so we took him to school and then Daddy made his girl some yummy cheesy eggs.  Then, I took Rylee to have her first manicure.  She, of course, picked pink nail polish and loved the lollipop at the end.  They even sprayed her hair with some special glitter hairspray...she loved it!  :)

Happy Birthday, Rylee!  We love you, Miss Priss!

Rylee was so excited about her balloons...

Big Brother had to play a little too!

Getting her nails painted...

Letting them dry...

Yummy lollipop! :)

It was a very 'princess' birthday...Modeling her new Cinderella dress and shoes and holding her new Cinderella doll!
