Wow, I can't believe our little boy turns 4 today! 4 just sounds so much older...and so much closer to big school! Jack is truly a joy in our lives. He is always full of energy and there is never a dull moment when he is around. He keeps us laughing (and keeps us on our toes!) with all of the things he says! He has such a tender heart and cares so much for the people around him. He has always been a very affectionate child and the random 'I love you's' and 'You're the best Momma/Daddy' that we get totally melt our hearts! He loves his sister so much and is always trying to play with her or give her kisses and hugs! She loves Jack too and wants to do everything that he does! Jack still amazes me with the things he knows and has an incredible thirst for knowledge. He loves learning to spell things and tries to read everything. He loves writing and spelling all the names of his family members!
We celebrated Jack's birthday on Saturday with a great party at a local park playground. All of Jack's friends were there and they had a great time playing and just running around. The weather couldn't have been more perfect and we all had a wonderful time! Jack requested sugar cookies instead of cake or cupcakes, so we had homemade sugar cookies and we let the kids ice them and decorate with sprinkles. It was a lot of fun and VERY yummy!! :) Jack (and his Momma and Daddy) is very blessed to have such wonderful friends to share in his special day!
