Jack started his 3rd season of Soccer at the beginning of September. His team is the Buccaneers and he is really enjoying playing. He has a few friends from the neighborhood and from church on his team, so that is always nice, too! Jack's team is playing in an older division this year and is really doing pretty well. They are starting to really understand defense/offense and are doing better with their footwork too. They've played some awesome defense so far this season! Jack is doing great, too...I can already see a difference in his playing from last spring. Can't wait to see how the rest of the season goes.
The first practice was a lot of fun. The kids got to get out on the field and practice dribbling and stopping the ball. They did a few drills and had devotions too. I don't always go with John and Jack to practice, so I really enjoyed getting to see all that they do each week.
And, of course, a few pictures...
Jack and his friend Matthew dribbling the ball
Everyone lined up to practice kicking and stopping the ball
Jack kicking into the goal during a drill
All the kiddos showing how the stop the ball...too cute!
