Decorating for Christmas...

This will hopefully be the first of a few Christmas posts for the month of December.  Trying to catch up on all the fun we have had leading up to Christmas day!  We've been so busy this month...feels like it shouldn't already be almost New Year!  I hope everyone has had a wonderful December and was able to slow down at least a little bit to enjoy the moments and remember the real reason for all the busy-ness that happens around this time of year!

We had such a fun time decorating the tree this year.  The kids were ready before Thanksgiving to pull out all the decorations, but we held off till the weekend after Turkey day!  We always have so much fun pulling out all the boxes and opening up all the ornaments and remembering where we got each one.  Both Jack and Rylee were very into putting the ornaments on the tree and we had quite a large concentration of them in certain areas of the tree.  I had to do a little 'rearranging' after bedtime!  :)  The kids also have little trees for each of their rooms.  They had fun putting all of their own ornaments on and the LOVE the colored lights!  :)  Jack told me later that the white lights are 'boring.'  Ha!

A few pictures of us getting decorated...

Jack carefully places each ornament (usually about 3 per branch!)
