The Flanagan Four: Miss Priss

just wanted to document some of the fun things that Rylee is up to lately. She is really getting to be such a little girl...less and less baby each day! We are having so much fun watching her grow and learn new things. She is such a little blessing and adds a lot of fun to our family! We love our girl...

-Still talking up a storm...saying sentences of 9 or 10 words now. Also, starting to really have conversations with you. In words that start with an F, she starts them with an S and in words that start with an S, she starts them with an F. Other than those two, her language is very clear.
-She is super polite. She ALWAYS says thank you and is always the first to say bless you after someone sneezes. She doesn't quite understand 'your welcome' yet and says 'thank you' back after someone tells her 'thanks'. She is also very good at saying 'Please can I have....' when she wants something.
-Loves to color and play with stickers...we could go through book of stickers in 5 minutes flat I think! I think she's gonna be a righty- although she will still switch hands and color with the left hand every once in a while. She has also been very into play-doh in the last few weeks. She loves rolling it out (with a little help) and cutting shapes with it.
-Gives the best hugs. She calls them 'big squeezes' and always says, 'Kiss too!' after she gives her hugs. So sweet!
-Loves, loves, loves her brother. She tries to do everything he does and wants to be with him all the time...even when he prefers she does her own thing. He is usually pretty tolerant of her and they are really good playmates!
-Still listens to music every night/naptime (as does Jack)...her favorite song is 'She'll be coming 'round the mountain'...she specifically like the verse 'We'll all have cake and cookies when she comes...' Wonder why that is!?
-Her favorite color is pink! She will pick the pink item above all other everytime...the pink shirt, pink socks, pink crayon, etc...like mother, like daughter!
-Has really gotten into baby dolls lately. She has a few of them and usually picks one to carry around all day. She is big into dressing and undressing them...she even likes to take them to sit on the potty (too bad she doesn't really care to sit on the potty herself! :) )/ It's so cute to watch her 'mothering' the babies.
-Is one of the toughest little kiddos I know. You can usually bet that if Jack and Rylee get the same injury, Rylee will cry for approximately 10 seconds and Jack will cry for 10 minutes...maybe an exaggeration, but it's pretty close. The girl is tough!
-She's starting to enjoy singing songs a lot. She loves 'Wheels on the Bus' and doing the motions with it and she loves 'Ring around the Rosies.'
-Is starting to show a little bit of her two-year-old drama every once in a while. She can be quite demanding when she wants something and her new favorite phrase is, 'Right Now!!' She's usually very agreeable, but certainly can show her temper when she gets upset.
-Rylee is becoming a little miss independent. One of her favorite things to say is, 'Me do it!' or 'Let me do it!' She tries very hard to put her clothes on all by herself, she likes to take her jacket off without any help, and she is very good at putting her shoes on and taking them off all by herself!
-Rylee really wants to go to school like Jack. When we walk Jack into preschool each morning, Rylee usually says, 'I go in Jack's class.' When I tell her that it's Jack's class and she will go to school when she gets bigger, she says, 'I go home and get my pink bookbag and go to school.' We are planning on enrolling her for 2 year old preschool at our church starting this fall...hopefully she'll be ok waiting that long. :)
