We went to Conway to visit our friends Kevin and Lisa and their boys, Cade and Carson for the fourth of July weekend. We had a great time hanging out, walking around Barefoot Landing, and doing lots of yummy eating! Jack had fun playing with all of Cade and Carson's cool toys (although we had to work on sharing a little bit) and Rylee was happy playing in their exersaucer too. Jack ended up sleeping in the bed with us while we were there. That went pretty well except for a few minor interruptions. Jack is not what you would call a still sleeper. The child moves all around in the bed all night. He would kick the covers off, roll over on me, roll over on John, etc. At one point Friday night, he somehow managed to roll over towards me and throw his leg over my neck. I, of course, woke up and John did too. I looked over at John and just said 'Help!'. It was pretty funny at 3 in the morning or whatever time it was. :) Again on Friday night at some point, Jack began talking in his sleep...but we have no idea what he said. I don't think it was any real words, but it was pretty funny too. I have been known to talk in my sleep, so I guess he gets that from me. Saturday night was much calmer with no major interruptions.
A few pictures from the trip...
Daddy and Rylee being sweet

We grilled out on Friday night and everyone had a good time playing outside. They played with Jack's golf set a little bit and played in Cade and Carson's little cars. Jack had fun pulling the boys around in the wagon.

Jack really wanted to hold Mr. Kevin's hand when we were out at Barefoot- too cute.

After dinner we got some ice cream and milkshakes...very good! We all enjoyed the sweet treat!
We had a great time visiting with the Jordan's. It's quite a wild house with all our kids, but so much fun! Thank you for being such great hosts! Hope we can do it again soon!
