Fun Birthday Parties...

Jack has gotten to go to a couple of really fun birthday parties for some of his good friends over the last month or so. His friend, Anna Beth, turned four in January and had her party at the Build-a-Bear Workshop at the mall. I know I will not will any 'mom of the year' awards with this confession, but...this was Jack's first Build-a-Bear experience! :) He had such a great time picking out his animal (a dog...named Buster), giving it a heart, stuffing it, and cleaning it all up. We then ventured down to the food court for some wonderful cookie cake and cookie sandwiches (Jack ate 2 of these!) made by Anna Beth and her Mommy. The party was complete with a ride on the carousel. Jack had a great time celebrating Anna Beth's birthday.

A few weeks ago, Jack best bud Hodges turned four as well. His birthday party was at the Columbia Marionette Theater. We had never been to a show there and were really excited to see how it all worked. Jack had fun playing some games as the guests arrived...the kiddos played color bingo as well as 'The Knight Says" (a take off of 'Simon Says'...since Hodges' party was in the Knight's Castle). Then, we all enjoyed cake and ice cream before the big show. The show was 'Beauty and The Beast' and Jack LOVED it. He watched intently the whole time and when it was time to go, he wanted to stay and watch it again. Hopefully we can go back again soon for another show! Such a fun time with such great friends!

Happy Birthday to both of you and thanks for including us in the fun! :)
