My Me-Me turned 80 on May 3rd. We celebrated with a big family party at my parents house. We had a great time getting together with our cousins and their children. We all live in different towns now and don't get to see each other nearly as much as we'd like to. Me-Me loved playing with all the great-grandchildren too! She's always willing to get down and play with the kiddos. Jack and Rylee sure love their Me-Me and Dat-Dat! It is such a blessing that they've had the chance to know so many of their great-grandparents. We enjoyed a yummy lunch together for the party and then celebrated the birthday girl with cake and ice cream, of course! I think she enjoyed all the celebrations in her honor. :) She, of course, received a few birthday presents that day. I think the most memorable gift was a photo book we put together for her with pictures of all her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was really surprised and spent a long time just looking through each page. Many special memories attached to all those pictures! :) So, even though this post is super late....Happy 80th Birthday, Me-Me! Thank you for the blessing you are for our family and for all you do for us. I couldn't as for a better Me-Me...Love you!!!
