We took at trip to the zoo with our playgroup friends the day after graduation...what a fun kick off to summer break! It was hot, but not as terrible as it has been these last few weeks and the kids had a blast checking out all the animals. We enjoyed a picnic lunch and then wandered around a little longer before heading home to rest. After all that walking and playing, everyone was ready for naptime! :) This was our first trip to the zoo since the new Kangaroo Walkabout had opened and we enjoyed walking through and being up close and personal with the cool kangaroos.
