Slip n Slide...

Poppa got a special treat for the kiddos this summer...a slip and slide!  They have a good hill in their front yard...just perfect for sliding down.  Jack and Rylee were super excited when we told them about it and were dressed in their bathing suits before we even left to go over to MuMu and Poppas house.  Of course, when we got there it was cloudy and thundering outside, so we couldn't get out there quite yet.  Jack anxiously monitored the weather...checking out the window quite often.  We went ahead and ate dinner and told the kiddos we'd check one more time before putting it away and just waiting another time.  After dinner, the clouds had cleared and there was no more thunder...the kids were so excited!  So, we headed outside and did a little slippin and slidin.  Jack was pretty good at it from the beginning...he figured out quickly to get a running start in order to get the best slide.  Rylee, on the other hand, was more interested in the spraying water and wasn't quite as successful at sliding all the way down.  It was a great time and the kiddos were worn out afterwards!  :)
