Christmas performances...

Jack has been quite a busy little performer of the last couple of weeks! On Thursday, December 11th, his 3 year old preschool class hosted a 'Christmas Gathering.' Jack made an invitation for John and me that was sent home the first week of December. The parents came in early that day and the students performed a precious little Christmas program for us. They learned to do the signs for the bible verse they'd been learning, 'A Baby is born for us.' They also sang a few songs for us. We then enjoyed a nice lunch and were able to socialize with some of the other parents in his class. Of course he wanted to sit with his favorite friend, Olivia. They were in class together last year and used to get in all kinds of mischief with their hugging each other during class! :) Too cute!

On Sunday, Decembe 14th, our church had the children's choir Christmas program. Jack's class, the 'Wee Singer's' did so well! They looked precious in their costumes and did great singing as well as watching the other performers. During the show, the narrator retold the story of Jesus' birth. Each group sang songs about the different parts of the story. Jack's class sang 'A Quiet Lullaby', 'Away in a Manger', and 'Room around the Manger.' Jack did great! We had prepped him that we'd be there and that he really needed to sing loud so that we could hear him. Sometimes if he sees us, he forgets to sing...but not this time. He was even practicing to himself when the first came into the sanctuary...too cute!
