Christmas day...

Christmas day was so much fun this year...even if it is somewhat of a blur in my mind! We got up early (as usual) to get ready before the kiddos...they actually slept in a little and got up around 7:15 or so. John brought them downstairs to see their loot...boy, Santa was good to these kids! They had lots of fun playing with all of the new toys, and (of course) Jack was very interested in everything that Rylee got. He actually stopped at her stuff first to check it out and 'help her' with all of her new things. I think the big hit presents for Jack were his scooter, his racetrack, and his Hungry Hungry Hippos game. We have played that game at least 100 times since Christmas! He loves it. Rylee got this Fisher Price little house thing that has a door that she can crawl through- she loves it. She's been obsessed with doors for a while and now she has one that she doesn't get in trouble for playing with! :)


My parents, John's parents and Aunt Say-Say came over to see the kids dive into their Santa stuff and we all enjoyed a yummy breakfast with Breakfast casserole, fruit and lots of coffee and orange juice!

After prying the kids away from their new stuff, we headed over to my parents house for more present opening and yummy food eating. The kids were really into opening the gifts, even Rylee! They got lots of nice things and we had to do a complete overhaul of the playroom! We enjoyed getting to spend lots of time with MuMu, Poppa, Me-Me, Dat-Dat and Say-Say....Man, that's a lot of silly names for one family! :)

Say-Say relaxing a little after a busy day! She had a very busy week...Say-Say and Anthony got engaged on December 21st! YAY! Looks like a summer wedding and a new member of the family next Christmas!! :)

Ok, well there you have it...I have now documented all of Christmas, I think. And it's not even a month after Christmas yet! Now I'm gonna try and catch up on all the non-Christmas stuff we've done since then! :)
