We took a trip to Sky Top Orchard outside of Hendersonville, NC at the beginning of October to go apple picking. We've been picking before, but this was our first time to this orchard. We headed out after Jack's soccer game that morning and got there after lunch. It was a beautiful day and this orchard had tons of varieties of apples! We had to walk a little bit through the mountains to find the variety we wanted, but then we hit the jackpot! We filled our basket full of yummy cameo and granny smith apples. We even taste tested a few while we were out there! Since this was our first time up there, we weren't sure how the set up would be, but next year we plan to pack a lunch and enjoy a picnic before starting to pick apples. It was just so pretty up there and there were lots of nice picnic areas. Here are a few cute pictures of our kiddos and their fun apple pickin'!
