Happy Easter!

We had a great Easter this year. We celebrated with John's family on Saturday here at our house. The weather was beautiful and we were able to spend most of the day outside...Jack loved it! Saturday afternoon, Sa-Sa (my sister, Sarah) came over to visit. We dyed Easter eggs with her and Jack had fun doing that. It was the first time we'd done that with him and he did pretty well with the mess. We had one issue though, since I decided to dye an egg that we hadn't boiled (grabbed the wrong one out of the package!). So we had to search the internet for ways to determine which of the eggs was not hardboiled. For any of you that may need to know that in the future- if you lay an egg on it's side and try to spin it, a hard boiled egg will spin fast but a raw egg will not spin at all. :)

We went to our church for Easter service Sunday morning and then went over to my parents for lunch. We tried to do a little egg hunt on Sunday afternoon, but I think Jack was a little burned out from all the hunts we had last week- he just wanted to run around all over the place!

Dying Easter eggs... Sarah and I didn't plan the color coordinated shirts- we just both have good taste! :)

Sa-Sa reading bedtime stories. After the books, we said prayers and then Jack told me and John to go downstairs, that he and Sa-Sa were going night-night. So sweet!

We did our best to get a picture of the two kids together- this is the best we got!

Look at those cute little britches!

Mom gave me and Sarah an awesome gift for Easter. She spent the last year converting all of our home movies to DVD and she gave each of us our own copy of all of them. She spent a ton of time making labeled cases for all the movies- It's pretty awesome! This is a picture of me and Sarah studying all the movies! I can't wait to torture Jack and Rylee with watching all of them! :) Thanks, Mom!
