We had Jack's 3rd Birthday Party on Saturday at Fox Tree Farm...it was so much fun! Jack and all his friends had a blast riding horses, going on a hayride and petting all the animals. This party was perfect for our little boy- he loved trying everything. He was first to want to ride on the horse- he even took a second ride, he drove the tractor with Mr. Fox, and he pet and fed all the animals! He especially loved the tiny baby bunnies, the billy goats, and the little chicks! Jack and his friends even got to paint a flower pot to take home with a pretty flower!
Jack enjoyed eating cupcakes and ice cream after everyone sang 'Happy Birthday', but I think he enjoyed his Capri Sun most of all! Silly boy! He got so many nice presents from his friends and family- we've already enjoyed playing with a lot of them! About a week before his birthday, we started asking Jack what he wanted for his birthday. I had some ideas of things to get him, but we wanted to see what he thought would be good. He said he wanted a bicycle. We weren't too sure about this, so we asked a couple more times over the next few days- each time he said he wanted a bicycle! So, John and I got him his first bicycle...complete with a Thomas the Train helmet. He loved it! We're still working hard to figure out the pedaling and steering issues, but we're getting there! :) Such a big boy!
Jack is so blessed to have such wonderful friends and family. All of his church and playgroup friends were there, our friends Kevin and Lisa came all the way from Conway with there 14 month old twins, Jack's grandparents, great-grandparents, aunts and uncles were all there to celebrate! Jack was so excited to have everyone there. Thank you to everyone for helping make this birthday so special!
Jack's actual birthday is tomorrow- John is taking the day off to celebrate! We have Jack's 3 year old checkup in the morning and then we're hoping to do some fun things with the birthday boy...yes, I'm sure there'll be plenty of pictures!!!
